Being Lionel Luthor's personal assistant wasn't an easy job. Who knew that working for a blind billionaire could be so dangerous? For starters, he was always in constant peril; more so than his son. On the first week alone, Lionel had been ripped from his helicopter by a deranged teen turned violent by the effects of meteor rocks and the sun. Then there was the fateful trip to Metropolis on a Sunday which would have been romantic had thieves not shown up and taken us hostage. The only plus to that little episode was getting to hold on tight to the man as the thugs made threats against us. Even during such a stressful situation, Lionel smelled sexy.
The job almost ended as quickly as it began when the resilient Lionel Luthor was shot in his own home just a few short hours after we made love for the first time. Lionel made up for his lack of sight by using every inch of his body to bring pleasure. Sex with Lionel was definitely a fringe benefit of the job. Thankfully he survived and we were able to resume our relationship.
Unfortunately his illegitimate son showed up and in his wake revealed that Lionel wasn't blind at all. That's when I was issued an ultimatum by my family to stop working for him. Their reason being that since he could see, he didn't really need me. Although I too was shocked and angered by Lionel's deception, I wouldn't have traded this year for anything in the world. While I'm sure Lionel used me to get information about me and my family somehow it really doesn't bother me. Lionel's a smart and resourceful man. If he really wanted to harm us, he would have done it already.
He's back in Metropolis now. Lex is married and he and his wife have moved to Nebraska and started their own medical research and pharmaceutical company. Lionel is alone. He has no one to share his failures and successes with. Once, after a particularly energetic lovemaking session, we talked about our families. I asked him why he didn't just let Lex be and live his own life. He said is this smooth silky voice that "Success is nothing without someone to share it with." I told him that was a beautiful sentiment. He told me it was a quote from Mahogany. "One day, we'll watch it together," he promised.
Once while everyone was out doing whatever it is they do when they aren't home with me, I rented a copy of the movie. I was first surprised that Lionel even knew about this film. He struck me as one of those foreign films with subtitles types. It made me wonder if he really felt that way. Was he really looking for someone to share his success with?
Clark is living the alien gone wild life in Metropolis. We're selling the farm and my marriage is all but finished. I'm tired of living a lie. I'm tired of being poor. I'm tired of spending nights making love to my spouse and pretending I'm making love to Lionel.
I'm going to Metropolis and throw myself at his mercy. I'll give him anything he wants, even if it means betraying Clark. I've packed a few things in my suitcase including a copy of Mahogany. I intend to make him keep his word. I've said my goodbyes to Martha; I'm going to Metropolis and hopefully to my destiny.
