Find me here
Speak to me
I want to feel you
I need to hear you
You are the light
That is leading me
To the place
Where I find peace again
As soon as the Kent men arrived at the medical center, Clark's nauseous feelings returned, but worse. Stepping out of the truck slowly, he traveled into the hospital, heading straight to the bathroom. Martha noticed him doing this and wondered what was wrong. She made her way over to Jonathan, who was standing next to the restroom door.
"Jonathan, what's going on?" She wondered. "What's wrong with Clark?"
He put his arm around his wife and pulled her into a quiet spot in the waiting area. She needed to know what had happened to him.
"Martha, Clark went to see Jor-El." Jonathan responded.
"What? Why?" She questioned.
"Our son wanted to become a breeder and it seems that now he is one."
"What? Clark can't be pregnant; men can't have children."
"Well, according to Jor-El and Clark, on the plant of Krypton, there were many breeders. They were married men, who had the children, when their wives couldn't or weren't able to."
"So, our son is going to have a baby?"
"Yes, it appears that way."
"Is that way he's in the bathroom?"
"Ahuh, he's been having morning sickness ever since we left the cave."
"Oh, poor thing, I hope it ends soon for him."
"So, does that mean that you want a granddaughter?"
"Oh, I don't care, Jonathan; whatever we receive, will be a miracle."
"That is very true."
Martha hugged her husband close, and as she did that, she saw her son exit the restroom, looking paler than ever. She went to her son and aided him to a chair.
"How are you feeling, honey?" She asked him.
"Queasy...did Dad tell you about me?" The younger wondered back.
"Yes, Clark, he did, and I'm very happy for you and for Lex."
"You're not upset about this?"
"Sweetheart, you are old enough now to make that kind of a decision. Your father and I are here for you, no matter what."
"Thanks, Mom."
Martha gave him a soft hug as Dr. Klein entered the room, ready to speak with them again.
"Mr. Kent, Mrs. Kent, I see you found Clark." He stated. "Clark, I'm Dr. Kenneth Klein. Your husband is under my care. It's nice to finally meet you."
"Likewise. How's Lex doing?"
"There's been no change. There's an outsized contusion on the back of his head that we are monitoring closely. We are hoping it's just a large impact bruise. He'll have to stay here until we see a change in the size of it. Right now, we need your consent to give him an MRI to rule out any brain injuries."
"I'll consent to it. Where do I need to sign?"
"You will sign nowhere." A voice stated from behind the doctor.
Both men turned to see Lionel Luthor staying before them, looking at his son through the window.
"If there's anything that needs to be signed for, I'll sign it. I'm Lionel Luthor, Lex's father." He added loudly.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Luthor, but Clark is legally your son's husband, your son-in-law. He's legally responsible for any decision for you son's wellbeing." The physician replied. "Clark, if you'd come with me please, I have the paperwork in my office. Goodbye, Mr. Luthor."
"Leave, Lionel." Clark stated to his father-in-law. "Lex doesn't want you here, and we don't need you here."
"Clark, let me give you some advice: don't mess with someone who has more, can get more, and is more than you." The billionaire answered, as he turned around and headed out of the medical center.
"He hates you, doesn't he?" Dr. Klein wondered.
"He doesn't hate me; he hates the whole homosexual life Lex and I have together. He was one of the people, who opposed the law."
"Ouch...he must hate being the father of a gay man, huh?"
"He hasn't disowned Lex yet, but he's close."

You are the strength that keeps me walking
You are the hope that keeps me trusting
You are the life to my soul
You are my purpose
You are everything
And how can i stand here with you and not be moved by you
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
After Lex's MRI was done, the nurses wheeled him back into his room, where Clark was awaiting his arrival. He was still unconscious from the accident, and no one knew when or if he'd wake up. When the nurses finished hooking Lex back up to his machines, they left him alone to be with the love of his life. Clark sat down next to Lex's bed and took his hand in his own.
"Honey," he whispered softly. "I'm here. I don't know if you can hear me or not, but Dad found me in the caves and something happened to me. Jor-El changed me and we're going to have a baby. Don't ask me to explain, but you and I are going to have the family we've always wanted."
Suddenly, a tear fell out of Clark's eye, rolling down his face, breaking on his cheekbone. He wiped it away with his other hand, knowing that he didn't want anyone seeing him cry, but it was too late. His new hormones kicked in and the emotions came over him quicker than he anticipated.
"Tell me what to do here, Lex, because I have no idea what should happen." he sobbed openly. "You're my guide, honey, and if you're not here to direct me on where to go, I'll be lost. You're my air, my light, my hope, my sorrow...you are everything to me, and if you don't wake up, how can you do that? God, look at me! I'm balling like a little girl. I know you'd laugh, if you saw me like this, so I'll laugh for you."
He continued to cry off and on, letting go of Lex's hand and laying it on his chest. After that, Clark sat in his chair and watched his lover breathe but not awaken from his dream-like state. He sat there for two hours, before giving in to his tired feelings. He laid his head on a piece of Lex's bed and allowed sleep to enter his body. Martha and Jonathan looked at their son as he slept. They were proud of their boy and we're excited to become grandparents. Knowing it was time to go back to the farm, they left Clark to his own devices and let him sleep. A couple of hours passed and a nurse came back to check on Lex. She saw Clark in the room, sound asleep, and knew not to wake him up. Making sure Lex's vitals were fine, she left the space as quiet as when she came in.

You calm the storms
You give me rest
You hold me in your hands
You won't let me fall
You steal my heart and you take my breath away
Would you take me in?
Would you take me deeper now?
And how can i stand here with you and not be moved by you
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
At about 7:30 that evening, Clark awake from his slumber, seeing that Lex was still unconscious. He got up from his place at his husband's bedside and walked out of the room. He stretched softly and strolled down to Dr. Klein's office to get some answers about Lex's condition. He knocked on the physician's door, hearing a voice inside stating: "Come in please."
Opening the gate, he peered around, seeing the doctor at his desk, working on charts.
"Am I interrupting you?" Clark wondered.
"No, Clark, you're not. Come in, I just got the results on Lex." He replied, welcoming him inside of the somewhat crowded space.
"How is he?"
"Well, it's what I thought it'd be. He has a concussion and that very large discolored bump on the back of his skull isn't helping his situation. It's near his occipital lobe, that's why he isn't able to open his eyes, but I don't understand why his body won't get him out of that trance of his. We'll give him some aggressive meds to stop the swelling in that area, but all we can do now, is play the waiting game. He'll have to stay here, until his condition changes."
"I figured as much."
"How could this have happened, Clark? Were you at your parents' house, when his accident occurred?"
He had to cover for it all. So, quickly, he made something up that anyone would believe in.
"No, I left. I was in the house with Lex, said 'goodbye' to him, and left to go to the library." He responded.
"You went to the library. Which one, may I ask?" the doctor questioned.
"Yes, at Central A&M...I have a report due in a couple of weeks. Lex said that he'd be at my parents' home for a little while longer and then, he was leaving to go to work."
"Did you make it to the library?"
"No, I didn't...is this supposed to be the 'Spanish Inquisition'?"
"No one expects it, you know. Look, Clark, I just want to know why my patient is still in a coma. I'm sorry...I didn't mean to interrogate you. Maybe you should go home and get some sleep, huh?"
"No, I think I'll stay, if that's alright. The chair in Lex's room is actually very comfortable."
"I bet it is; I'll get one of the nurses to bring you a pillow and a blanket."
"Thanks."
"You're welcome."
Clark left the office, hoping that Lex would be conscious, when he returned to the room. Entering the dimly-lit space, he saw Lex lying there still not awake, knowing that it would take some time for him to heal. He sat down in the seat next to his lover's bed and let out an audible sigh. He got comfortable and watched his partner positioned quietly, and soon, he also fell asleep again. He wanted the love of his life to wake up; he wanted Lex to live again.
And how can i stand here with you and not be moved by you
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
'cause you're all i want
You are all i need
You are everything, everything...
You're all i want
You are all i need
You are everything, everything...
And how can i stand here with you and not be moved by you
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
And how can i stand here with you and not be moved by you
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
Would you tell me how could it be any better than this?
